This evergreen Sempervivum shows off with 2- to 4-inch-wide rosettes formed from ice-blue green leaves, highlighted with touches of rose. The rose color is heightened in colder weather. ‘Pacific Blue Ice’ forms in spreading clumps and flowers in late summer.
Sempervivums are happy in well-drained, gravelly soil. They are a drought-tolerant sedum that are wonderful in rock gardens, containers, vertical gardens, or as ground cover. Full sun to light shade.
